Ken Hogg
Executive Chair
Ken Hogg is Executive Chair of London & Colonial Assurance PCC Plc.
Previously, Ken was CEO of Chesnara UK for the last 7 years and is a life insurance actuary. He has previously held executive roles with the UK’s FSA, RGA, AIG and Aegon.
Ken also led the implementation of Solvency II for the Gibraltar FSC.
James Moorehead
Interim Managing Director
James Moorehead became Interim Managing Director for LCA in November 2024.
James is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He qualified at PwC before gaining experience in Insurance Management, Fund Administration, Distribution and SaaS businesses.
He joined LCA and the Gibraltar entities in August 2022 initially as Head of Finance. As well as Interim Managing Director, he is the COO of the Gibraltar operation with both Operations and Finance reporting to him.
He holds the regulated roles of COO and Head of Finance for the Gibraltar entities, with the GFSC. He is a Director of LCA as well as the other four Gibraltar entities within the Group.
Lance Leatherbarrow
Chief Risk Officer
Lance Leathbarrow has over 30 years’ experience in the global insurance industry. In that time Lance has lived and worked in several jurisdictions broadening and shaping his experience at each turn.
His experience spans both life and non-life sectors whilst also extending across the full insurance spectrum from underwriting and claims to compliance, risk management and governance.
A significant period of his career was spent in the drafting and development of international policy standard setting which he now manages as an integral part of his role with the company.
In his free time Lance can be found either sailing or watching the rugby.
Mark Edkins
Director of Projects and Product Development
Mark Edkins joined LCA in September 2023 to lead on product development and strategic project work. Mark has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services, working for large insurers such as LV=, Ageas, A.J.Gallagher, and Howdens (formally Aston Lark).
Mark is a seasoned strategic digital, product and marketing expert with proven success in delivering significant business growth and developing versatile multi-channel business models to transform brands.
Prior to working at LCA, Mark worked as a Management Consultant where he successfully led various large scale business transformation programmes and delivered growth strategies for some of the UK’s largest insurance brokers.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys golf, surfing, and spending time with his family in Cornwall.
Stephanie Perez
Company Secretary
Stephanie Perez is Company Secretary for LCA. She has over 20 years’ experience working as a Company Secretary in the Gibraltar Financial Services sector.
Stephanie is responsible for complete management and delivery of quality corporate administrative services.
Outside of work Stephanie enjoys going to the gym and cooking for family and friends
