Mike Perry
Executive Chair
Mike Perry is a portfolio Non-Executive with a proven track record in financial services start-ups and turnaround, and has extensive understanding of risk profiling key strategic corporate decisions within a regulated environment. He is also the Consumer Duty Board Champion.
He holds significant experience within the financial services industry and has FCA-approved person status operating at board level.
Mike is a highly effective relationship builder internally and externally with an outstanding track record of delivering results. He has excellent knowledge of all areas of board requirements, including Business Development, Marketing, Corporate Governance, Corporate Planning, Operations, Finance, Risk and Budgeting.
Mike was the CEO at specialist insurer PG Mutual from 2011 until the end of 2021. He now runs his own consultancy firm, Mutual Respect. Mike is also a Non-Executive Director for a cash plan provider based in Cardiff and a savings provider based in Manchester.
Mike became Executive Chair of LCA in April 2025.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys a round of golf, motorsport, socialising and walking in the Lake District with his wife, Sue.
James Moorehead
Managing Director
James Moorehead became Managing Director for LCA in November 2024.
James is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He qualified at PwC before gaining experience in Insurance Management, Fund Administration, Distribution and SaaS businesses.
He joined LCA and the Gibraltar entities in August 2022 initially as Head of Finance. As well as Managing Director, he is the COO of the Gibraltar operation with both Operations and Finance reporting to him.
Outside of work James enjoys travelling, playing padel tennis and trying to play golf.
