Accessibility

We want to make sure that our services and website content is accessible to all.

Making our website accessible

Our website has been designed to make it simple to navigate and as easy to use as possible and has been built to cater for a wide range of different devices and technologies.

We have followed web accessibility principles outlined by the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C) to ensure our webpages meet the four W3C principles that apply:

  • Perceivable information and user interface
  • Operable user interface and navigation
  • Understandable information and user interface
  • Robust content and reliable interpretation.

Changing text size on our website

If you would like to change the text size, the settings of your internet browser can be changed.

How you do this may differ depending on which browser you use. You can find out how you can do this for the most commonly used browsers below:

Using text-to-speech and additional device support

If you need text-to-speech then your browser should have this functionality already built into the ‘Settings’ menu. This functionality will read out the text on the screen. Sometimes this is referred to as ‘read aloud’, ‘reader view’, or ‘read mode’.

If you need more support to help make your device easier to use, the AbilityNet website can help. You can find simple guides explaining how you can adapt your device to meet your needs.

Requesting alternative format documents

If you would like any of the documents in an alternative format such as braille, large text, audio format or coloured paper, please email our Customer Services Team on lca@stmgroup.online with your request.

If you are an adviser, you can also contact your Business Development Manager.
